Kachhi: The District Health Committee held a crucial meeting in Kachhi under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Captain Retired Jameel Ahmed Baloch, to assess the performance of medical personnel and the availability of healthcare resources. The session included evaluations of doctor and paramedical staff performance, medicine availability, and healthcare provision in remote areas.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting featured key participants such as the Superintendent of the District Headquarters Hospital Dhader, Dr. Zahid Ali Sarki, Polio Head Abdul Rahim Zirkoon, DSMP PHI Imran Khan Khajak, Imran Ahmed from BISP, and Pervez Ahmed Lahri representing UNICEF. The discussions focused on ensuring that medical staff are present at their assigned locations, that there is consistent availability of medicines, that medical facilities reach remote parts, and enforcing strict measures against employees who are habitually absent.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Baloch emphasized the Balochistan government’s commitment to utilizing all available resources to ensure the provision of basic health services to the populace. He highlighted the responsibility of healthcare professionals to perform their duties with integrity and dedication. He also stressed the importance of courteous treatment of patients, the availability of free medicines, and the necessity for medical staff to maintain a consistent presence at health centers to avoid inconveniences in patient care. Baloch warned that strict actions would be taken against any employees failing to meet their obligations.
The session underscored the government’s focus on improving healthcare delivery and ensuring that healthcare workers adhere strictly to their professional duties for better health outcomes in the region.
