ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have amplified their efforts to ensure a seamless flow of traffic and provide guidance to the public, following directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry. The initiative aims to optimize traffic management and enhance public facilitation in the federal capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, Superintendent of Police (SP) Traffic Khan Muhammad Hasbani acknowledged the diligent efforts of traffic police officers and officials by awarding them certificates of appreciation and cash rewards. SP Traffic emphasized the commitment of ITP personnel to serving citizens and highlighted the importance of effective traffic law enforcement to minimize accidents and maintain uninterrupted traffic flow.

In a meeting with lifter operators, SP Traffic issued directives to ensure their duties are performed diligently and instructed them to take action against vehicles obstructing traffic. The ITP is conducting awareness activities at major intersections to educate citizens about traffic laws and road safety. Additionally, Islamabad Traffic Police Radio FM 92.4 provides updates on road safety, traffic laws, and the latest traffic conditions to the city’s residents.
