ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, recently acknowledged the exemplary performance of several police officers by inviting them to the Central Police Office (CPO) and awarding them certificates of appreciation.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the officers were recognized for their professional services, dedication, and performance. The IGP emphasized the importance of officers performing their duties with dedication, professionalism, and responsibility, stating that such officers are valuable assets to the department. He noted that recognizing outstanding performance encourages the officers and motivates others to enhance their performance.

IGP Chaudhry highlighted the primary responsibilities of the Islamabad Police, which include protecting citizens’ lives and property and facilitating the public. He called for an improvement in the provision of timely, effective, and quality police services to citizens. Additionally, he urged officers to maintain commitment, integrity, discipline, and professionalism while ensuring respectful conduct towards citizens.

The IGP stressed the significance of building public trust through effective service delivery and responsible policing. He encouraged all officers to work collectively to enhance police service delivery and prioritize public service. Concluding his remarks, IGP Chaudhry congratulated the officers for their outstanding performance and expressed hope that they would continue to demonstrate dedication, professionalism, and commitment in their duties.
