Islamabad: The Islamabad Police Summer Camp 2026, held at the Islamabad Police Lines Headquarters, is providing children with a structured environment to enhance their physical and mental abilities. The initiative aligns with the Public-Centric Policing vision and is conducted under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the camp includes training sessions in activities such as swimming, martial arts, football, archery, horse riding, and gymnastics. Additional focus is placed on imparting knowledge of first aid, traffic rules, moral education, discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, and leadership skills.
Activities are being conducted in both morning and evening sessions, allowing participants to enjoy and learn simultaneously. Children have expressed that the camp offers a valuable learning environment where they acquire essential life skills alongside sports.
SP Headquarters Pari Gul emphasized that the camp aims to boost children’s self-confidence and promote positive engagement, while also fostering trust between the community and police. The camp includes self-defense training from experienced professionals, aiming to cultivate responsible and safety-conscious citizens.
She noted that the summer camp has been an annual event since 2002, growing each year with public support. The first batch of the 2026 camp has concluded, and the second batch is currently active, with a significant number of children participating in various educational and recreational activities.
