Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, Over 387 Individuals Checked


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have conducted extensive search and combing operations across the city, scrutinizing over 387 individuals as part of an initiative aimed at reducing crime and apprehending criminal elements. This citywide effort follows directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were executed under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and were closely monitored by the respective zonal SPs. The operations entailed thorough checks of 136 households, 31 shops, four hotels, 180 motorcycles, and 61 vehicles. During these activities, four suspicious individuals and 16 motorcycles were taken to the police station for additional verification.



SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that these operations are designed to intensify measures against criminal activities and bolster security throughout the city. He noted that similar operations are being conducted across different areas in the district as part of ongoing efforts against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
