Islamabad, April 26, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Islamabad capital police facilitated more than 1.6 million citizens during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, despite the severe pressure of traffic in the federal capital, the officials of Operations and traffic divisions facilitated 2.25 lakh vehicles, 1.50 lakh bikers and more than 1.6 million citizens, a police public relations officer said
He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police worked tirelessly to maintain law and order and provide the best facilities to citizens during the recent Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
“Maintaining law and order and providing the best facilities to the citizens are among the top priorities of the Islamabad capital police,” said Capital Police Officer Safe City Shoaib Khurram. “Our police personnel showed their professional abilities with utmost diligence and courage, and their hard work ensured the safety and convenience of the citizens.”
Along with monitoring through Safe City cameras, the CPO Safe City Islamabad was also present with traffic police officials on the roads. He added that citizens should call at Islamabad capital police helpline Pukar-15 to get immediate help from the police in any emergency situation. The Islamabad capital police is committed to maintaining law and order, protecting the lives and property of citizens and providing the best facilities to the citizens.
