Pakistan and Türkiye Discuss Enhanced Energy Sector Cooperation

ANKARA: The Adviser to the Prime Minister on Privatisation, Mr. Muhammad Ali, met with the Minister for Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye in Ankara to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. The officials examined investment opportunities and explored avenues for enhanced collaboration between Pakistan and Türkiye.

According to Privatisation Commission, the discussions included fostering strategic partnerships, promoting private sector involvement, and sharing experiences in energy sector reforms and development. The meeting underscored the strong relations between the two countries, reaffirming their commitment to deepening economic and institutional cooperation for mutual benefit.

The Adviser expressed appreciation for Türkiye’s achievements in the energy sector and conveyed Pakistan’s interest in expanding cooperation in areas of common interest. Both sides agreed to maintain engagement and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
