Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch in Islamabad on Thursday, marking her retirement from government service. During the meeting, Dar praised Baloch for her contributions and leadership over the past two years, a period characterized by significant diplomatic activity.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar extended his best wishes to Baloch as she transitions to her new role as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye. Baloch, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support and guidance she received during her tenure, and for the opportunity to serve her nation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a farewell interaction with the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad, Baloch’s leadership was acknowledged by participants, who conveyed their best wishes for her future endeavors.
