Jammu, May 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police raided the house and office of illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Muhammad Shareef Sartaj, in Jammu city in a fifteen years old case.
The police conducted raids on Shareef Sartaj’s house and office at Sunjuwan and Khatikan Talab areas of Jammu in connection with a false case registered in 2007. The police personnel harassed the family and staff members of the incarcerated leader and took away mobile phones, laptop, some documents and other material. The police are also carrying out raids at the house of Hurriyat activist, Raees Ahmed Malik, in Dalpatian Mohalla of Jammu city.
The case pertains to shouting of pro-freedom and anti-India slogans on the occasion of the visit of the iconic Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani Sheheed, in 2007. Syed Ali Gilani passed away on September 01, last year, while being kept under continued house arrest by the Indian authorities for over a decade.
