Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DIG Law and Order Muhammad Atiq Tahir conducted unannounced visits to several checkpoints throughout the federal capital. The inspections were carried out under the specific orders of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
The visits were accompanied by SSP Investigation and SSP Operations. The purpose of the inspections was to review the security arrangements and to interact with the officers on duty. The senior officers emphasized the importance of carrying out duties with vigilance and dedication.
During their interactions, the DIGs stressed the need for officers to remain alert and execute their responsibilities with honesty and integrity. They highlighted the importance of ensuring the safety of citizens and the protection of public property.
The officers were instructed to engage respectfully with the public during security checks to build trust between the police force and the community. Additionally, a firm crackdown has been ordered against suspicious individuals and criminal elements across the city.
The senior officers reiterated that the primary goal of the police force is to control crime and instill a strong sense of security among the residents of Islamabad.
