Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted a meeting with Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Secretariat Circle, ASP Ali Raza Qureshi, to assess the current state of law and order and policing strategies in the area.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting focused on several key areas, including effective patrolling, crime prevention, addressing criminal activities, and the quality of police services provided to the citizens. The IGP emphasized the importance of strengthening field policing and patrolling, especially at critical and sensitive locations, to deter criminal activities and ensure a robust police presence.
IGP Rizvi highlighted the need for maintaining quality, transparency, and efficiency in investigations, ensuring that all cases are resolved on merit and within the legal framework. He urged officers to respond promptly to citizens’ complaints and deliver timely, professional police services. Additionally, he underscored the importance of enhancing coordination between the police force and the public to ensure the safety and protection of citizens’ lives and property.
Concluding the meeting, IGP Rizvi reiterated that the Islamabad Police are utilizing all available resources to combat crime, uphold law and order, and provide a secure environment for the citizens of Islamabad.
