New York: Pakistan has advocated for the comprehensive and sincere implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803 and the New York Declaration to safeguard Palestinian territorial integrity and create a feasible path toward statehood, as articulated during the UN General Assembly.

According to Radio Pakistan, Muhammad Faheem, Second Secretary in the Pakistan Mission to the UN, addressed a session of the UN General Assembly’s second committee in New York, highlighting the severe devastation in Gaza. He noted that ongoing ceasefire violations have resulted in the deaths of over fourteen hundred Palestinians.

Faheem emphasized the necessity for a fully upheld ceasefire, the unhindered delivery of aid, and the prompt advancement of recovery and reconstruction efforts.
