Lahore, June 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has taken notice of the incident of attempted rape and setting a woman on fire in the area of Roshan Wala Faisalabad police station and demanded a report of the incident from RPO Faisalabad. IG Punjab orders stern legal action against detained accused.

He directed CPO Faisalabad to investigate all aspects of the incident under his supervision. Rao Sardar Ali Khan directed that the supervisory officers should keep close contact with the victim and should not spare any effort in providing justice. IG Punjab said that the accused involved in the incidents of violence and abuse against women do not deserve any concession, the accused involved in said incident will definitely be punished.
