Lahore, July 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded certificates of appreciation and cash prizes to the officers and personnel who performed best in protecting the life and property of the citizens. In the ceremony held at the Central Police Office, the officers and personnel posted in various districts including Lahore were invited for honouring, in which the IG Punjab awarded the officers and personnel with certificates of appreciation and cash prizes. Dr Usman Anwar awarded SP Operations Commander Safe Cities Authority Ayesha Butt with letter of appreciation, Inspector Hussain Farooq, Sub Inspector Abdul Manaf, TSI Shahroz Latif were given CC One and cash prizes. Other officers and officials who received awards included officers and officials of Kasur, Nankana, Sheikhupura and Gujranwala region districts.
IG Punjab ordered the awardees to perform their duties more diligently and serve and protect the citizens. IG Punjab said that the housing, health, education, service and promotion structure of martyrs and employees has been built on a strong basis, in terms of challan and licensing, police share under road safety and welfare is being considered, Dr. Usman Anwar Dr. Usman Anwar said that the income received from the service centers is being spent on the health and welfare of the soldiers. Under the proposed service structure, every policeman and officer will be informed about the possible year of promotion to the next post.
He said that summer camps for the children of police personnel are also ongoing in the police welfare schools of all districts. Classes and online lectures will also be conducted to prepare for the exams. DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar and AIG Ahsan Saifullah and other officers were also present in the ceremony.
