Gwadar: A new advanced security system was inaugurated at Gwadar Port, marking a significant step towards enhancing port security and functionality. The system was officially launched in a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch, a Member of the Provincial Assembly. The ceremony underscored a collective effort to modernize the port’s infrastructure and operations to better serve and protect stakeholders, including businessmen, investors, tourists, employees, and laborers.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the newly installed parametric security system spearheaded by Pansad Khan Bilidi, Chairman of Gwadar Port Authority, aims to increase the port’s security efficiency and effectiveness. During the ceremony, both Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch and Pansad Khan Bilidi emphasized the importance of the modern security measures now in place, which are expected to streamline entry and traffic systems while boosting the overall functionality of the port.

Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch, during his address, highlighted the commendable leadership of Pansad Khan Bilidi in spearheading the development and modernization initiatives at Gwadar Port. He noted that the steps taken under Bilidi’s direction were pivotal in transforming Gwadar into a safer and more attractive destination for both local and international investors. Furthermore, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch extended an invitation to domestic and foreign investors to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the enhanced security and operational standards at the port.

The ceremony also served as an occasion to acknowledge the dedicated efforts of the Gwadar Port Authority’s staff, whose contributions were vital to the successful completion of the security system installation. Looking forward, there is a strong optimism that this advanced security infrastructure will not only improve the security but also aid in the ongoing development of Gwadar Port.
