Governor Sindh Attends Indus University’s Special Convocation, Honors Distinguished Individuals


Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori participated in the special convocation of Indus University, where several notable figures were awarded honorary Doctor of Philosophy degrees.



According to Sindh Governor House, the convocation held at the Governor House saw the conferral of honorary degrees on former Consul General of Qatar in Karachi Meshaal Muhammad Al Ansari, Strategic and Planning Expert Mrs. Wadha Abdul Rahman Abdullah Jassim Muhammad Al Muslimani, Chairman EU-PAK Friendship Federation Europe Chaudhry Parvez Iqbal Losar, and former Deputy Commissioner, District Central Taha Salim.



The event was attended by Chancellor Indus University Khalid Amin, ambassadors from various countries, caretaker provincial minister Arshad Wali, Mubeen Jamani, and other dignitaries. Governor Tesori welcomed the ambassadors and emphasized the significance of the individuals receiving the honorary degrees as exemplars for others.



In his address, Governor Tesori highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts for societal advancement. He reflected on the transient nature of material wealth and positions, stating that true value lies in serving people for the pleasure of Allah, regardless of one’s official capacity.



The special convocation of Indus University and the participation of Governor Sindh underscore the recognition of contributions made by individuals in various fields, fostering a spirit of service and collaboration in the broader community.
