Islamabad: The government has revised the prices of petroleum products, significantly reducing the cost of high-speed diesel while slightly increasing the price of motor spirit. The adjustments are effective immediately.
According to Radio Pakistan, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by thirty-two rupees and sixty-three paisas per litre. It now stands at three hundred sixty rupees and six paisa, down from three hundred ninety-five rupees and sixty-nine paisas. In contrast, the price of motor spirit has increased by two rupees and ninety-seven paisas to three hundred thirty-seven rupees and fifty-one paisas, up from three hundred thirty-four rupees and fifty-four paisas.
