Srinagar, December 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a 20-year-old girl has lost her foot in a landmine blast along the Line of Control in Hathlanga village, Uri area of Baramulla, on Wednesday afternoon. According to Kashmir Media Service, the girl identified as Masooma Bano lost her left foot in the landmine blast. The girl was grazing a sheep herd close to her home.

A health official told media that they received the girl at local hospital with severe leg injury even as her left foot was cut off. “After assessing her condition, she was referred to Baramulla hospital for better treatment”, the official said. It is worth mentioning here that such incidents take place frequently in all the areas lying close to the Line of Control as Indian Army has planted the fatal devices even in residential areas without taking care of civilian population.
