Islamabad: His Excellency Mr. Nicolas Galey, the outgoing Ambassador of the French Republic to Pakistan, met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for a farewell call, marking the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure in Pakistan. The meeting highlighted the ongoing commitment of both nations to strengthen bilateral ties through various avenues.
According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Sharif acknowledged Ambassador Galey’s efforts in enhancing the relationship between Pakistan and France. The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to expanding its relationship with France by fostering political dialogue, economic partnerships, development cooperation, and cultural exchanges. Both parties agreed on the necessity of maintaining regular high-level interactions and sustained collaboration on regional and global matters of common interest.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif extended warm regards to French President Emmanuel Macron, expressing his best wishes for Ambassador Galey’s future endeavors.
