Foreign Experts Converge on Islamabad for Key Minerals Investment Forum

Islamabad: Foreign investors and experts have begun arriving in Islamabad for the two-day Minerals Investment Forum, set to commence tomorrow. The event is poised to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from major global economies, to explore investment opportunities in the mineral sector.

Deputy Director General of the Asian Development Bank, Catherine Marsh, is among the notable attendees, having already arrived in the capital. Marsh expressed optimism about the potential for development within the mineral sector facilitated by this significant investment gathering.

In addition to the ADB delegation, a team from the Xi’an Geological Survey Center of China is also present in Islamabad. The project manager from Xi’an has conveyed his best wishes for the success of the forum, indicating a positive outlook for the collaborative efforts expected to emerge from the discussions.

The forum is set to attract delegates from other nations, including the United States and Saudi Arabia. This international participation underscores the global interest in tapping into Pakistan’s mineral resources, potentially paving the way for future investments and partnerships.

As the forum unfolds, participants are anticipated to engage in discussions aimed at identifying viable projects and forming strategic alliances to bolster the mineral sector’s growth in Pakistan.
