Islamabad: Five individuals identified as members of the ‘Manna’ gang have been apprehended by the Islamabad Police Phulgran Police Station team for their alleged involvement in a series of theft and robbery incidents. The police recovered stolen property valued at millions of rupees, along with cash, mobile phones, a motorcycle, and weapons believed to have been used in the crimes.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the suspects confessed during preliminary investigations to participating in multiple theft and armed robbery incidents. Several cases had already been registered against them, and further investigation is ongoing. This arrest is part of a broader initiative by SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, to crack down on theft, robbery, street crime, and other serious offenses throughout the federal capital. The police aim to maintain law and order and safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
SSP Operations Islamabad has instructed officers to intensify efforts against those depriving citizens of their valuables and ensure that such individuals are held accountable. The Islamabad Police have also appealed to the public to assist in crime prevention by reporting any suspicious activities or objects to the police or the Pukar-15 emergency helpline.
