TEHRAN: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, together with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, conducted a meeting with Iran’s Minister of Interior, Eskandar Momeni, in Tehran. The discussions are part of Pakistan’s broader diplomatic efforts to enhance peace and stability in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the visit aims to advance initiatives directed at achieving a peaceful, lasting, and comprehensive resolution to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The meeting underscores Pakistan’s commitment to fostering diplomatic dialogue and cooperation with its regional neighbors to address challenging geopolitical issues.
