Islamabad: The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP) organized a one-day training session focused on safety and emergency preparedness to strengthen safety arrangements and enhance fire safety awareness among its officers and officials. The training aimed to improve the capacity of the court staff to respond effectively to emergency situations.

According to Press Information Department, the session was attended by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and the Worthy Registrar, Mr. Muhammad Hafeez Ullah Khan, along with other court officers and officials. Mr. Muhammad Ahsan, Director of Capital Emergency Service at the Capital Development Authority, briefed participants on Islamabad’s emergency response system and procedures for effective emergency coordination.

Mr. Tariq Masood, Assistant Director, provided a detailed briefing on fire types, firefighting methods, personal safety, evacuation procedures, and emergency planning. Participants received hands-on training in the use of fire extinguishers, with experts addressing queries and offering practical safety guidance.

Mr. Justice Ali Baqar Najafi noted that the session aimed to review and improve existing safety arrangements. He emphasized the importance of the safety measures discussed and expressed hope that the training would benefit court officers and officials. This initiative is part of the FCCP’s ongoing efforts to enhance institutional preparedness for emergencies.
