Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) carried out a comprehensive fire safety mock drill at the Parliament House in Islamabad to evaluate and enhance emergency preparedness and response strategies for potential fire incidents. The exercise aimed to test evacuation processes, communication with authorities, rescue operations, and other safety procedures.

According to the Senate of Pakistan, the drill involved creating a simulated fire scenario within the Parliament House to assess the effectiveness of existing emergency protocols. Officers and officials from the Parliament House participated in the exercise, collaborating closely with CDA staff to ensure a thorough evaluation. The drill served as a platform to review current safety measures and identify areas for improvement.
