Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar led the second meeting of the committee on power sector reforms, highlighting measures to enhance regulatory independence and effectiveness in line with privatization initiatives, focusing on consumer protection.

According to Radio Pakistan, the committee convened in Islamabad to deliberate on strategies that would bolster the regulatory framework of the power sector. The recommendations formulated during the meeting aim to complete the committee’s designated objectives.
