New York: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in New York to participate in the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The visit marks a significant engagement for Pakistan on the international stage, with Dar set to attend a series of high-level meetings and forums throughout the week.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dar was received at the airport by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, along with Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Consul General New York Aamer Ahmed Atozai, and other officials from Pakistan’s Mission to the UN and Consulate in New York. The Deputy Prime Minister’s agenda includes participation in ministerial forums where he will deliver statements on key issues relevant to Pakistan, covering topics that span bilateral, regional, and international priorities.

In addition to his participation in the UN General Assembly, Dar will join the Prime Minister in a series of bilateral meetings with counterparts from various countries. These meetings aim to discuss and reinforce Pakistan’s positions on significant global issues while fostering international cooperation.
