Lahore: A meeting chaired by Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin was convened to evaluate the disbursement processes and application scrutiny under the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Programme. The focus was on ensuring timely payment of loan installments to eligible families. According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting examined the administrative aspects and progress of the housing initiative, which has disbursed over Rs264 billion to more than 200,000 families so far.

Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin emphasized the non-tolerance of delays in loan installment disbursements and directed relevant institutions, including the Bank of Punjab and Akhuwat, to eliminate unnecessary hurdles. He insisted on transparent processes and effective coordination, with regular reviews to monitor applications and loan approvals. The Minister underscored the importance of public feedback and stressed that the ACAG Programme aims to enable families to construct their homes, aligning with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of providing practical assistance to deserving families.
