Ziarat: In an effort to bolster security and address the concerns of the Levies Force, Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Liaqat Ali Kakar convened a Levies Durbar at the Assistant Commissioner Sanjawi office. The meeting focused on reviewing the performance of the Levies Force, solving the problems faced by its officers and officials, and discussing strategies to enhance law enforcement in the area.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Durbar was attended by the Assistant Commissioner of Sanjawi, officers, and officials from various Levies Force check posts and Shahriatham police stations. During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Kakar emphasized the critical role of the Levies Force in maintaining security in Balochistan, noting it as one of the best forces in the region. He stressed the need for modernizing the force by equipping it with advanced weaponry to meet contemporary security challenges.
Kakar directed the officers to ensure strict monitoring of Sanjawi’s entry and exit routes, increase patrols, and maintain vigilant surveillance over suspicious and criminal activities. He linked the region’s development and survival to peace, stating that peace and prosperity are interdependent and vital for progress. Furthermore, Kakar assured that the issues faced by the Levies personnel would be addressed promptly and that outstanding officers and staff would be recognized and rewarded across various platforms.
