Jammu: Congress leader Mahindra Bharidwaj sharply criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at a rally in Jammu, accusing it of deceiving and failing the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) through its governance policies.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Bharidwaj expressed his disdain for the BJP’s administration, declaring that the Kashmiri people have been severely let down by the central government and its local representatives. He described the governance in IIOJK as unresponsive, which has led to widespread suffering among the territory’s residents.
The rally, aimed at drawing attention to the governance issues in IIOJK, served as a platform for Bharidwaj to urge voters to hold BJP accountable in upcoming elections. He emphasized the importance of using the ballot as a means to reject BJP’s approach and prevent any future disregard for the needs and rights of the Kashmiri people.
