CM Punjab Engages IPP Lawmakers to Foster Political Stability

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Thursday engaged with members of the National Assembly from the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) to deliberate on the political landscape of the country and ongoing development initiatives within Punjab.

According to Chief Minister of Punjab, the meeting was attended by Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and MNA Muhammad Aoun Chaudhry, Gul Asghar Khan, and Manza Hassan. During the discussions, a consensus emerged to cooperate on matters concerning the country’s development and political stability. The IPP lawmakers expressed their approval of the chief minister’s public welfare strategies and acknowledged her contributions to development efforts in Punjab.

The attendees specifically commended projects that aim to provide clean drinking water in regions with saline water issues and appreciated the provincial government’s development efforts. Additionally, the lawmakers congratulated Maryam Nawaz on the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s success in the Azad Kashmir elections, noting that her development projects have gained recognition beyond Punjab, extending into Azad Kashmir.

The chief minister’s leadership received accolades from the lawmakers, who also reaffirmed their commitment to collaborate in the national and political interest. CM Punjab expressed gratitude for the unity in pursuing public service and development goals.
