Lahore, August 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi ordered the concerned departments and institutions to remain alert all the time in the wake of rains in Lahore and other cities. He directed the administration, WASA, Rescue 1122 and PDMA to undertake prompt measures to cope up with the situation arising out of rains. He directed the concerned departments to undertake work for the water drainage and ensure expeditious drainage of rain water from the low lying areas.
CM further directed the concerned officials to come out of their offices in order to oversee the water drainage work. CM directed the traffic police to take effective measures in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic so that the citizens do not face any difficulty in commuting.
