IGP Islamabad Reviews Security and Counter-Terrorism Efforts, Calls for Swift Actions

Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi convened a meeting at the Central Police Office, focusing on security, counter-terrorism, and legal matters. The meeting included key officials such as SSP Counter Terrorism Department Islamabad Saud Khan and AIG Legal Tahir Kazim.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the session addressed the security situation in the federal capital, ongoing counter-terrorism strategies, and pending legal issues. Detailed discussions emphasized enhancing the police force’s capacity and effectiveness, reviewing counter-terrorism operations, intelligence-based actions, and identifying security challenges.

IGP Rizvi instructed officers to bolster the counter-terrorism framework in response to evolving threats.
