Islamabad: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, extended his felicitations to the Muslim community, particularly in Pakistan, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, while emphasizing the importance of global peace, unity, and brotherhood. In his message, he underscored the significance of embracing the spirit of Eid through collective efforts.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Gilani highlighted that Eid-ul-Fitr is not merely a celebration but a demonstration of gratitude, fraternity, and compassion. He stressed the need to promote tolerance, harmony, and love at both individual and societal levels to foster a peaceful society. The Chairman also expressed concern over global conflicts, especially in the Muslim world, and called for unity within the Muslim Ummah to address these challenges through collective wisdom.
