Lahore, A special ceremony to honor the promotion of 32 police officers to the rank of inspector was held at the Central Police Office (CPO) in Lahore, organized by Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. The event was attended by the families of the promoted officers, along with senior officials of the Punjab Police.

According to Punjab Police, Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar, who personally congratulated the promoted officers, emphasized the importance of diligence and integrity in their duties. He announced that further promotions within the Cyber Crime Unit, Safe Cities Authority, and other divisions are imminent. Dr. Anwar highlighted the ongoing commitment of the Punjab Police to the welfare of its employees and their families, noting the creation of over 2,400 jobs for the families of martyred or deceased officers. The ceremony also addressed upcoming promotion boards and reiterated the department’s commitment to merit-based advancement within the force.
