Lahore, In a proactive effort to assess and improve healthcare facilities, Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Prof. Dr. Javed Karam conducted an early morning visit to Sahiwal Teaching Hospital. Accompanied by Principal Sahiwal Teaching Medical College Prof. Dr. Muhammad Imran, Dr. Karam undertook a thorough review of the ongoing construction work in the Rahmatullah Alamin block and also visited patients in the emergency block.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Dr. Karam’s visit is part of a broader initiative, ordered by Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi, to examine various government hospitals across the province. Dr. Karam highlighted that over 100 government hospitals in Punjab are undergoing significant revamping, a transformation unprecedented in the history of the province. He emphasized that enhancing patient facilities in government hospitals remains a top priority.

This visit underscores the commitment of the Punjab government to overhaul the healthcare system, focusing on improving infrastructure and patient care in state-run hospitals.
