Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar met with a delegation from East Sea Group, headed by Chairman Fang Yulong, in Beijing this Wednesday. The discussion revolved around the government’s strategies aimed at economic advancement and fostering business investments.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Kakar elaborated on the government’s commitment to establish a business-friendly environment. He emphasized the importance of the private sector, noting that the government is keen to provide it with the necessary conditions to actively participate in Pakistan’s economic growth.
In response, Fang Yulong briefed the Prime Minister on East Sea Group’s current investment in a refinery located in the Gwadar Free Zone. He also mentioned the heightened interest of Chinese companies in expanding their investments within Pakistan. This information was provided by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The Prime Minister welcomed East Sea Group’s investment intentions, spotlighting Gwadar as an instrumental aspect not only for Pakistan’s growth but also for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Furthermore, he extended his gratitude towards China for its unwavering support towards Pakistan.
