Islamabad, Murtaza Solangi, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Information, has met with the newly elected President of the Maldives, Mohamed Muizzu, and Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef. The meeting took place during an official banquet.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Solangi conveyed congratulations from Prime Minister Anwaar Haq Kakar, the Pakistani government, and the people of Pakistan to the new Maldivian leaders. The Caretaker Minister of Information expressed best wishes for both President Muizzu and Vice President Latheef for their tenure. A scheduled meeting between Minister Solangi and President Muizzu is set for Saturday.

The meeting signifies the ongoing diplomatic relations and goodwill between Pakistan and the Maldives, highlighting the importance of maintaining strong ties between the two nations.
