Islamabad, A graduation ceremony was held at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, marking the completion of training for cadets of the 148th PMA Long Course, 67th Integrated Course, 35th Technical Graduate Course, and 22nd Lady Cadet Course. Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, graced the event as the chief guest.
According to News Release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, The prestigious Sword of Honour was presented to Academy Senior Under Officer Muhammad Abdur Rehman Awan. The President’s Gold Medal was conferred upon Battalion Senior Under Officer Muhammad Hamza Khalid. Battalion Senior Under Officer Shreejan Baniya from Nepal received the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal. Additionally, Commandant’s Canes were bestowed upon Course Under Officer Muhammad Najam Azam of the 67th Integrated Course and Course Under Officer Fareeha Kainaat Arif of the 22nd Lady Cadet Course. Company Quarter Master Sergeant Frasat Toufique of the 35th Technical Graduate Course was the recipient of the Chief of Army Staff Cane.
It is noteworthy that the list of graduates also included cadets from several international territories, including Iraq, Maldives, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Yemen.
