HONG KONG: Bilal Bin Saqib, the Minister of State and Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, participated in a series of high-level meetings in Hong Kong aimed at bolstering collaboration in digital finance, tokenized capital markets, regulatory innovation, and frontier technologies.
According to Radio Pakistan, Bilal Bin Saqib engaged with senior officials, including the Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, and a Member of the Legislative Council. The discussions centered on Hong Kong’s experience in crafting modern financial-market infrastructures and establishing a regulated environment for digital assets and tokenized financial products. Both parties also explored potential cooperation in the fields of fintech, Web3, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
