Balochistan Braces for Hot, Humid Weather with Thundershowers Expected in Several Districts

Quetta: The Regional Meteorological Center Balochistan forecasts a continuation of hot and humid conditions across most parts of the province on Monday, with afternoon and evening thundershowers expected in several districts.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, regions including Zhob, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, Sibi, Khuzdar, and Quetta are anticipated to experience thundershowers, providing a brief respite from the heat. Similar weather conditions are predicted to persist into Tuesday, particularly with thundershowers likely in Zhob, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, Sibi, and Khuzdar.

Recent weather reports noted 4 mm of rainfall in Barkhan over the last 24 hours. The highest temperatures were recorded in Nokundi and Dalbandin at 47 degrees Celsius, with Sibi reaching 44 degrees, Quetta 40 degrees, Panjgur 39 degrees, Zhob 38 degrees, and Khuzdar 37 degrees.

Residents and visitors in the affected areas are advised to prepare for fluctuating weather conditions, especially during peak heat hours.
