Muzaffarabad, January 06, 2023 (PPI-OT):The International Forum for Justice and Human Rights organized an anti-India demonstration in Muzaffarabad, today, on the anniversary of martyrs of the Sopore massacre. A large number of people, holding banners and placards in their hands with slogans against Indian state terrorism in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, participated in the demonstration. The protesters also raised high-pitched slogans against the brutalities of the Indian troops on innocent Kashmiris.
Vice Chairman of International Forum for Justice Human Rights Mushtaq-ul- Islam, Jamaat-e-Islami District Ameer Latif Abbasi, Municipal Chief Officer Jameel Afghani and Pasban-e-Hurriyat Vice Chairman Usman Ali Hashim addressing the protesters said despite the passage of 30 years the wounds of the tragic Sopore massacre are still fresh in the hearts of the people of Kashmir.
The speakers deplored that the perpetrators of the massacre were roaming freely and the victim families had not yet received justice. The speakers saluted the bravery of the Kashmiris and said that despite the Indian atrocities, their morale is high and they are steadfast in their demand for freedom.
