ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry stated that Afghan soil is allegedly being used to facilitate terrorism in Pakistan, as intelligence-based operations are ongoing nationwide to dismantle terrorist networks. Chaudhry addressed a news conference in Islamabad, revealing that approximately 200 intelligence-based operations are conducted daily across the country.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chaudhry emphasized the existence of a terror-crime nexus, which he claims is aiding terrorist activities within Pakistan. He further noted that the so-called Awami Action Committee in Azad Kashmir has been declared a proscribed entity based on substantial evidence.
