Advisor to Prime Minister Discusses Industrial Development in Hub

Mir Ali Hasan Zahri, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Industries, emphasized the significant role President Asif Ali Zardari is playing in promoting industrial growth and job creation in Balochistan, particularly in the industrial district of Hub. According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Zahri spoke at a gathering attended by Hub Ruhana Gul Kakar and other government and management officials. He outlined the strategic importance of Hub as a gateway to Balochistan’s industrial development and mentioned ongoing efforts to enhance investor security in the Special Economic Zone being developed there. During a briefing, MD Leda Farid Muhammad Hosni informed the Advisor about the progress of the Hub Special Economic Zone, a key project costing three billion rupees. Initiatives include the construction of a new road network, fire brigade station, technical center, healthcare center, and police station, with 556 million rupees worth of development work completed to date. Zahri dire
cted the Leda management to prioritize water treatment, healthcare, and educational facilities within the zone to support the establishment of large-scale industrial units. He emphasized the need for accelerating these projects and maintaining high standards in the ongoing development efforts to ensure the timely completion of the industrial expansion.
