ISLAMABAD: A delegation from the 47th Mid-Career Management Course visited the Central Police Office in Islamabad, where they were briefed on the operations and technological advancements of the Islamabad Police. The visit included insights into the command and control systems that are part of the city’s security infrastructure.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the delegation received a comprehensive overview of the police force’s operational mechanisms, including the Safe City systems and intelligence-driven crime prevention strategies. Key figures in the briefing were DIG Law & Order and Training Muhammad Atique Tahir and AIG Operations Hamza Humayun, who facilitated the tour of the Command, Control, Communication and Coordination Center.

During the session, DIG Muhammad Atique Tahir explained the deployment of Safe City cameras, modern technology, and data analytics to enhance early crime detection and prevention efforts. He also emphasized the improvements in monitoring and response capabilities afforded by the modern command and control systems.

At the conclusion of the visit, DIG Tahir presented a commemorative shield to the delegation. The participants expressed their appreciation for the professional standards and technological innovations of the Islamabad Police, recognizing it as a model for other institutions.
