Islamabad: The U.S. Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) inaugurated a new facility, the “Innovation Hive,” designed to support Pakistani entrepreneurs in transforming business ideas into successful ventures. The initiative aims to foster U.S.-Pakistan commercial collaboration by providing access to American expertise, technology, and networks.

According to the Embassy of the United States of America, the inauguration ceremony featured Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker and Federal Minister of IT Shaza Fatima, who emphasized the potential of Pakistani talent and the importance of creating opportunities for mutual prosperity. The Innovation Hive will connect over 250 American mentors with Pakistani entrepreneurs throughout its first year, with additional investment from the U.S. government to support leading entrepreneurs in Pakistan.

The Innovation Hive will host monthly “Links and Leads” sessions to connect entrepreneurs with mentors and peers, and regular “demo days” will allow startups to present their products and ideas. Online certificate programs will also be available to enhance entrepreneurs’ practical business skills. The initiative is part of a longstanding effort by USEFP to open doors for Pakistani talent, building on decades of educational exchange programs.
