Two Indian Troops Die in Separate Incidents in Jammu and Kashmir


Srinagar: Two members of the Indian forces lost their lives in separate incidents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, an accident involving a government convoy in Kathua district resulted in injuries to four police personnel.



According to Kashmir Media Service, a member of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) from the 180th Battalion, identified as Jitender Singh, succumbed to a cardiac arrest in the Tral area of Pulwama district.



In a separate incident, an Indian army personnel died after his motorcycle skidded off the road near the Banpat area in Poonch district.



Furthermore, the region witnessed another mishap when a vehicle that was part of a convoy escorting Indian Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh met with an accident in Kathua district. The vehicle was en route to a BJP election meeting in Billawar when its front tire burst, leading to the injuries of four police officers accompanying the convoy.
