ISLAMABAD: In response to directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza convened an open court at his office to address public grievances under the open door policy.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the event was organized to facilitate the immediate resolution of citizens’ issues. Attendees brought forth concerns, particularly related to land encroachments, among other matters. SSP Operations Raza listened to the complaints and instructed relevant officers to initiate legal proceedings on the identified applications within a specified timeframe and to submit subsequent reports.
During the session, SSP Operations emphasized the Islamabad Police’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on violence against women and children, highlighting the importance of providing relief to the public. He assured that the rule of law would be upheld and reiterated that all citizens have equal rights, with applications being resolved based on merit. He noted that protecting citizens’ lives, property, and dignity remains a priority for the police force.
