Sohbatpur, In anticipation of the upcoming monsoon season, Deputy Commissioner Ms. Farida Tareen led a critical meeting yesterday to strategize on pre-emptive security and emergency response measures. The session focused on ensuring that Sohbatpur is well-prepared to handle the potential impacts of the rains.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting was attended by officials from the Frontier Corps, the local police, and various departmental heads. Deputy Commissioner Tareen emphasized the importance of readiness across all sectors, particularly urging the Irrigation Department, B and R, and other relevant agencies to ensure that all heavy machinery is maintained and ready for deployment.
The discussions underscored the necessity of having robust strategies in place to mitigate the adverse effects of the monsoon. Ms. Tareen stressed the importance of reducing potential losses and protecting the local population by finalizing all preparatory measures now. She also mandated that all subordinate staff maintain strict attendance to guarantee prompt responses to any emergencies.

This platform will serve as a critical tool for ongoing updates about the situation, enabling coordinated efforts among the district administration and various departments.
