ISLAMABAD, In a significant move for the International Parliamentarians Congress (IPC), the Chairman Senate and Founding President, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, chaired a meeting today at the Parliament House. The assembly’s primary agenda was to review IPC’s work and lay the groundwork for the upcoming presidential elections.
According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting saw the participation of notable Senate and IPC officials, including Secretary Senate Mohammad Qasim Samad Khan and Secretary General IPC Sitara Ayaz. Deliberations resulted in a consensus to initiate the electoral process for IPC’s President, with the official schedule expected to be declared in December 2023.
Chairman Sanjrani highlighted his dedication to uphold IPC’s mission during the transition of leadership, underlining the need for transparency and inclusivity in the election process.
