Kalat: Security forces have successfully neutralized twelve terrorists linked to Indian sponsorship during a targeted operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district.

According to Radio Pakistan, the operation was conducted based on intelligence reports indicating the presence of terrorists associated with the group Fitna al-Hindustan. The operation involved identifying, monitoring, and confronting a terrorist hideout, resulting in the deaths of all twelve individuals. A significant stockpile of ammunition and improvised explosive devices was also destroyed on-site.

Ongoing sanitization efforts are underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining threats in the area. This operation is part of a broader counter-terrorism campaign titled “Azm e Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. The initiative aims to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.

Both President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for their successful efforts in Kalat. The President emphasized the determination to defeat terrorism at any cost, while the Prime Minister reiterated the nation’s solidarity with the Armed Forces in their mission to protect the country and eliminate terrorism.
